METAvivor appreciates your donation and honors your generosity by ensuring that 100% of your donation goes toward supporting grants for metastatic breast cancer research.
I was diagnosed in Nov. 2014 with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. I had a lumpectomy performed and we planned to do some chemo and radiation to clean everything up. My liver function numbers were a little high so my oncologist ordered a CAT scan and PET scan in January 2015 and we realized the cancer had already metastasized to my liver and spine. So I had already been Stage IV when we thought I was Stage 2. Tamoxifen kept me stable for less than a year before the cancer progressed and I switched to a combination of Ibrance and Letrozole in Feb. 2016 which thank God has kept me stable for 2 years now. While I am still feeling well I want to run a fundraiser to raise funds for METAvivor to contribute to Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer research projects so I and others living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer have a chance.
Please join me for a fundraising event to benefit METAvivor on Saturday June 23 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Paradocx Vineyard in Landenberg. Relax and unwind at this lovely venue and win prizes beginning at 3:00 PM. You do not need to be present to win, but you will want to be! 100% of fundraiser proceeds will go to METAvivor research grants. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
METAvivor is a volunteer-led organization, and 100% of donations go to research.
